We were in San Diego recently. Had stayed at Marriott for conference, then a tour.

On the last day, instead of flying red eye back to Toronto (which I don't like as I often can't sleep well and end up tired), we decided to stay one night in SD. After some searching, found the BW 7Seas only required 12k points, and they had free airport shuttle.

They also showed the shuttle goes to the theme parks and downtown. We didn't think much about using the shuttle to elsewhere because we thought they might be a long wait. Anyway, after our tour dropped us off at the airport, we got the shuttle to his hotel in short time. The driver Larry was friendly and gave us local info and mentioned he's the only driver that night and he can drop us off downtown and pick up latest by 9:30pm.

We took that up and went downtown, then back. This driver Larry was great.

The room was great too, clean, nice, quiet. The hotel had swimming pool, small exercise room, and 2 hot tubs. I originally wanted to use the hot tub, but after the night out in downtown SD, then feel I caught a cold, didn't use it.

Next morning it was only 2 of us going to the airport on the shuttle. So all in all, we were quite happy with this stay at BW 7Seas.
