If you book award travel on Spirit Airlines using Free Spirit miles does the award travel include checked and/or carry on bags, or do you still have to pay for the bags? Does it include an assigned seat or do you need to pay if you want an assigned seat?

It's amazing how difficult it is to get an answer from Spirit, they do not reply to queries sent using their email form and their phone lines hang up on me before ever getting to speak to a live person. I have searched online but can't find an answer to this question anywhere. Hopefully someone with personal experience will answer here for the benefit of everyone with the same question.
