I think you are on the right track.
'Complaining on FT' seems to be the only I thing really see evidence that is happening, and while I question the effectiveness, it certainly does not seem to deter the people complaining.
So, jump right in! (just look around first - you don't need to start a new thread, jump on one of existing threads)
PS I agree with you on your fundamental dissatisfaction with CPU's / RPU's / GPU's, and also agree that the formerly generous, UA unique, program feature where others inherited your status if you booked their ticket with your miles, is something I am missing already. Bummer that this was eliminated.
