If you have your MH issued itinerary reservation number, you can just go to MHUpgrade website to to check, it will give you the option to bid if eligible.
However since you're on 1 ticket, you may want to check with EI (assuming marketed by them) what is the MH reservation number.
Cheers for that, I bought the flight through Ebookers so I'm interlining from EI to MH, I have pnr's from both Airlines.
