I believe I have firm grounds to get the credit. I made the reservations when there was still some doubt about the eligibility. I called Marriott Rewards to clarify with them. They confirmed eligibility twice. No one is in a position to clarify the rules better than Marriott can.

I am just wondering if there is perhaps a difference, because it is a Ritz Carlton booking?
