HI, your help would be appreciated.

We are spending a week in the Cotswolds next month. We will have a rental car and plan to travel around seeing the many sights. We will be making our way from Broadway to Bath for a couple of days there. I had originally planned to drive the route that goes through Cirencester. However, I've been reading a bit more and there were some articles about the Wye River Valley. We could alter our route and drive that way to Bath, spend a few hours driving through the area and make some short stops to see local sights. It's a bit longer, not terribly so, but based on the reading it sounds like a beautiful area. I'm wondering if it good alternative and worth considering? Thank you.
