As jlemon and I head off to the far reaches of the planet, I just want to thank everyone for their participation thus far. Without you, we're just entertaining but unanaswered questions. Although I may not have much opportunity to address questions and answers in the next couple of months, I will have the ability to work on some new questions. So to quote that well known slinger of iron from Austria (Ah-Nold) "I'll be back!"

We, too, recently found ourselves on board an elderly 763 with this aircraft being a B767-322 operated by United, albeit with a new BusinessFirst and coach interior - and, no, we did not receive our front cabin upgrades on this IAH to IAD flight, although we had been wait listed via our mileage award tickets for about five months. It appears lots of other folks were upgraded via various methods on this flight which leads me to believe that UA had us on the bottom of their priority list and also that wait listed upgrades via Mileage Plus award tix have now become difficult.
Fortunately, our next flight was quite a bit better which I shall discuss in my next post....
