Ours was only a 30K-something DWT boat, so quite a lot smaller than most cruise ships. Of course we sat somewhat lower in the water too, and didn't have stabilizers.
There were a few days when it was rock 'n roll time, but nothing terrible and neither my wife nor I got sick. We crossed the North Atlantic in early April on the QM2 some time back, probably about the same sensations, albeit six days is not the same as three weeks.
