Updated to add that the upgrade happened; is it possible somebody was "off" by an hour? It is flight 6, LAX-DCA, a 12:50 p.m. (PDT) departure. At 2:45 p.m. (MDT) no upgrade, at 2:42 p.m., upgrade.

But I have something called "guest" upgrades I did not know about, so I found out something nice today.

And the phone agents were most pleasant.^

Edited to add: Return flight (AS 5 DCA-LAX) also cleared at 120 hours. I am a happy camper.
