I can't respond because I've never been a plat, but if you want club level, I suggest you spring for it. it will not be included. As well, depending upon the time of year, you may or may not get an upgrade.

Rooms are all about the same size. It's view and floor that make the difference. If you're going at a busy time I would not count on anything more than a city view room on a low floor. If it's slow you will probably get something more.

The club is still very good and they've expanded their offerings.
