So let me get this straight.

People have been getting F TPs at J prices and BA now want them to get J TPs at J prices? Not sure there is grounds for complaint.

Also as an addendum, not all 2 class on AA are F and Y. some - in particular American Eagle - are J and Y. I booked a J single from LGA to YYZ on the UK AA site a month or two back. it cost £127 and was J and I got J points. If I'd bought it as part of the whole ticket (VCE - LHR- JFK/YYZ - LHR - AMS it would have increased the cost by £2k. So I booked it separately with AA.

If people are complaining about no longer being able to get what they aren't really entitled to me then I'll be scratching my head in confusion....
