I'm on a similar booking (DFW-PHX-OAK) with 45 minutes to change planes. I had to do it since i am traveling last minute for a family emergency, with 4 tickets. Since i'm with little kids (3 & 6), i'm looking for all the tricks to ensure i make the connection this Saturday.

So far i think i've done all i can (seats in the front of plane, check in as much baggage as i can). Anything i'm missing for PHX? Should i ask for a cart?
