Customers who apply and are approved for the card will receive a link to a specific website where they can use the new card to buy an iPhone or Android smartphone.
They will receive a credit for the purchase up to $650 as long as they spend $2,000 on the card in the first three months.
Customers who receive the new smartphone must also have AT&T wireless service. The card carries no interest rate on AT&T purchases for the first seven months. After that, interest rates will range between 14.99% and 22.99% for all purchases, based on creditworthiness. The annual fee is $95.
