What irks me is the real low-ball approach of "including" 15% service then having another line for the tip.
Stating "service not included" is actually quite a positive thing - the consumer can decide what they pay.
I caught myself out over this once when having had a few shandys, just added a tip on top of the service already included, then looked later and realised they had just let me do it. I rang the restaurant and gave them a rather large slice of my thoughts on the matter. I did not expect anything from them and they did not disappoint. But I always check/ask now. One of life's lessons.
