(Is an "erroneous error" wrong too? Seems like a double negative or some vicious but little known grammatical aberration!)
Tautology - basically redundant words of the same meaning.
Like '7 AM in the morning'
Another might be 'widow woman'. The 'woman' is redundant as widow is female
'PIN Number' is another as the N already stands for number. As is saying 'She has the HIV Virus'
'Erroneous error' could be tautology or not depending on the circumstances it is used in as some errors could indeed be erroneous.
