I downloaded the app, which came in handy when I went from gold to platinum while I was in Asia and haven't received my card yet. When the agent at check-in started to argue that I wasn't entitled to the benefits I requested I loaded the app and showed her my new status. I'm glad I have the app, because I haven't received my new card yet.
