Thanks for all your info throughout the years. I seem to understand that OW marketed/OW operated earn miles based on the marketing airline's fare code when operated by another OW airline.
But I got a rejection from MPC for AA flights (LIN-MAD, MAD-ORD) with an AA, fare code H, but operated by IB. Both AA and IB are OW so I don't understand why they rejected (reason given on website:"Codeshare/charter flights not eligible for earning Asia Miles")
Now, IB is listed as 50% mileage accrual for fare H, but I booked fare H in AA and it was only operated by IB, so I SHOULD be getting the full mileage, I thought...based on the fact that AA was who I booked through...
