I`ve heard exact same thing when flying in Business on LH last time-a couple next to me was shocked to see economy class seats with one empty seat as Business class product. They said Aeroflot provided much better hard and soft products.

Oh, and I feel your pain. While LH has a few good things, it is going down hill, mostly because of their customer service, or lack of it. Very inconsistent.
