Well doesn't UA do this to increase revenue?
no, UA has the same issue of opening R with a waitlist of instruments, including on long haul flights. the reports have been less frequent lately so maybe they are starting to get it under control. of course, we are also in a low INTL travel season with lots of J seats going out empty anyways, so check back in the summer and you may see it tick upward again.
