Have you ever flown with aeroflot in recent years? They aren’t bad at all. In the nineties and early 2000s they were crappy but managed quite the turnaround.
On short and mid-haul routes they offer a real C class – not just the seat blocking and their food (to my surprise) especially in Y is better than the gruel you receive on LH (not to mention the really bad stuff LX now serves).
Long-haul I prefer other airlines, but inside of Europe the SU offering is amongst the best in my opinion – if only their hub were more centrally located they’d be a real alternative…
