There was no presentation of the steaks, as before. Our waitress was a little young girl, cracking jokes about drinking (inappropriate to me for the type of dining experience I was expecting). The steak was subpar, very tender (I got the Cajun ribeye) but not as spicy as I would have liked for Cajun and swimming in grease (or butter...but whatever it was, the steak was literally wet). The appetizers were good (Lobster cocktail and crabcake) but the sides tasted like they were frozen and maybe the "chef" added a seasoning or two after it was zapped in the micro (case in point, the creamed spinach had nutmeg).
Next stop for me to visit next-Peter Luger's.
I've been to Luger's in Brooklyn a few times to meet friends who live around there. I just don't get it. The steaks are good, but not 3x the price good.
