$400 seems a bit steep for a o/w ticket. A quick search shows NYC-MIA/FLL/PBI is routinely around $175 o/w. No way I'd blow 65k skypesos unless I was sitting on a high six-figure balance. OP, I'd look at other carriers to meet your needs (Frontier and UA were the cheapest when I checked).
I think OP meant $400 was roundtrip.....which is that is the case, is more than fair nowadays.
Very difficult to find cheaper trip unless you're willing to fly on Tuesday at 1PM
