I called the Hyatt Diamond line to change my reservation...very easy. It was the same as changing any reservation. This experience could differ depending on availability at the hotel you want.
Does RA know you changed your reservation? It was my understanding it would need to be initiated with them so that they could have Hyatt send out the certificates. You can book a certificate rate without a certificate.
