Given that A3 has made it much, much harder to qualify from scratch in the last six months, I would put the chance of a mass status match across many non-*A programs as infinitesimally small.
We may continue to see highly targeted matches, such as the one from CY, where A3 needs some leverage to get ahead of (say) FR in launching services from a given location but that's going to be it for the foreseeable future. The game has changed an awful lot since this thread was started ...
My inclination is that routine *A status matches are now solely the preserve of TK - airlines are trying to generally reduce the numbers of elites they have to service in lounges etc, not increase them.
