Hi,

I am travelling from Newcastle to Mangalore via Dubai on Emirates with a Jet airways connection in Mumbai. Emirates reaches mumbai at 8:10am and my domestic connection is at 20:55pm the same day.

I have never done this before, so can anyone here please help me with my queries?

1. Do I have to collect my luggage at BOM if though it's checked-in through to be collected at Mangalore(IXE) - The complete journey is on one single ticket.

2. If so, can I check-in my bag at the Jet Airways luggage transfer desk so after I clear customs even though my flight is at 20:55?

3. I'll have the DF shopping in my hand luggage - chocolates, perfumes..etc - How can I get these through security?

4. Also, will I be allowed to check-in my hang-luggage at the domestic check-in desks when i board my domestic connection?
