I'm scheduled to travel on Peach KHH-KIX and Vanilla Air NRT-KHH in late July / early August this year. It will be my first time on LCC and while I'm aware of the experience on baggage, seat etc I didn't find much info about IROPS situation.

Specifically, as it's summer months with possible typhoon weather, what is the standard policy on WX or MX delay/cancellation for LCCs? What are my passenger rights?

The north american carriers are usually able to book its own airline or codeshare partner and in some cases competitors next available seats or provide hotel voucher if next day, will the LCCs do the same?
