(Well, there's also the Louisiana museum in Humlebaek, which is one of my favourite museums in Europe...)

If you're starting in Copenhagen, I believe you can only buy the ticket from SJ (Swedish Railways) - they have a booth (relatively limited hours) in the main station.
SJ there still sells this Skanetrafiken products?

Skanetrafiken says the ticket is sold in central Copenhagen at one tourism bureau:

In Denmark you can only buy it here: Copenhagen Visitors Centre, Vesterbrogade 4A
IIRC, this visitors bureau was outside of the train station, on the side of the road with the RadissonBlu hotel that faces Kobenhaven H station. At Malmo Central Station, the Skanetrafiken office sells these but the SJ office there referred people to buy it from the Skanetrafiken office.

I was under the impression that the ticket is good for unlimited bridge crossings in the 48-hour period with the "requirement" to do one ferry crossing (but no more than one ferry crossing) between Helsingborg and Helsingor and at least one Oresundsbro (bridge) crossing between the two countries.

I've certainly used these tickets without taking the ferry, even as I should have taken the ferry.

Perhaps things have changed, but people would just tear off the ferry coupon and not always use it. Also, I recall hearing some students on the train talking about a scam with these tickets where they would modify one or more numbers -- at least when/if the date is hand-written by ticket buyer/user -- in order to re-use the ticket one or more times. Maybe all of those questionably legitimate and inarguably illegitimate uses of these passes have been shut down since a couple of summers ago.

The Skanetrafiken staff at Malmo C had told me that I could use the ticket to go back and forth between Malmo and Copenhagen as many times as I wished but that I needed to take the ferry once and the bridge once. I had always interpreted this as allowing for unlimited bridge crossing within the 48 hour period. The staff on the trains never made an issue over my multiple bridge crossings on a single ticket.
