I am renting from Budget and planning to book my car soon. I am curious about BCD and coupon codes though (also, sorry for posting here- the BCD discussion is a pretty dead currently).

There are codes on retailmenot.com that are noted to either go in the BCD area or under coupon code. In my particular situation coupon code Mugz165 saves $30 and BCD codes D464700 and D464701 save $15. I'm under the impression that BCD codes are codes that belong to businesses and organizations and coupon codes are just promos open to anyone- the issue is I can't seem to find out what group the BCD codes belong to.

There are numerous comments about how much people saved using the BCD's and no one came back to comment saying they needed to provide proof or anything. Even with that, I am nervous to book and end up needing to be part of a particular group and obviously not have the necessary identification.

Does anyone have any experience with using BCD codes off of retailmenot? Is there anyway to find out what group the codes belong to?
