It's hard to be exuberant about this property. They get some things right (I've found customer service to be solid here), but the facility itself is, frankly, quite dated. Building an oceanfront resort hotel without balconies should be a federal crime, but 85% of rooms here have no balconies.
I've been upgraded to lagoon suites here, but I hated them. Comfort level about a 4 out of 10 -- oddball furniture placed awkwardly in the great room. Poor lighting, inadequate a/c.
RBC here is really what it's all about in terms of PLAT benefits. Really nice to have breakfast in the restaurant as an option -- that's a huge plus.
Next time, I would refuse the lagoon suite upgrade and just go for a high floor RBC tower room with a balcony.
