I just booked my first AC flight after being a loyal 1K UA customer for years. United has gone from the best of the 3 legacy US carriers to become an unsafe, unreliable third world carrier. I purchased a Business/First class ticket from LAX to NRT. I notice the first segment is on Rouge and the YVR -NRT is on a 787. Can anyone tell me their favorite seats?, I am claustrophobic and won't get on a plane unless I have an aisle seat. Looks like the 787 1-2-1 is all aisle compared to UA crappy 2-2-2. Also how is the AC lounge, I believe with my *G I have access, is it any better than the pretzels and carrots and water ( if you don't want to wait in line at the bar for a soft drink)at the United Club?
