Thanks folks. I really just wanted insight. As I stated I'm new, restricted/unrestricted means nothing to me. I have never seen prices fluctuate with this degree of a change so it was a big deal to me. I do have elite status with the airline so I will wait and see what happens with customer service). I guess from now on, I will buy all refundable fares.
