What OneWorld FFP is recommended for me?
As I about 5-10 flight segments every year and I have to live for a few years, I would like to join a frequeny flyer program.
In a few months, I will be flying Qatar airways from CDG to Vietnam (HAN and SGN) via DOH and BKK.
1) What is most important to you in a FFP?
Reply: It needs to be possible to keep miles long. I don't want them to expire.
I'm interested in both award flights, upgrades and other kind of small benefits. As I don't fly enough, a FF status won't be possible.
(2) How many miles do you usually fly each year & in what class? How many flights/sectors?
Reply: <25000, in economy (O and L for my upcoming flights). Less than 25 flight sectors.
(3) What types of fares do you usually buy?
Reply: Cheapest
(4) Can you choose your airlines and/or class of service? Do you travel for work and/or pleasure?
Reply: Yes. I travel for pleasure and I'm not strictly bound to an airline.
(5) Which routes and airlines do you fly most often?
Reply: European short-haul + long-haul between Europe and Asia.
Mostly with the cheapest solution. This is often Qatar Airways.
(6) What is your home airport?
Reply: BRU. But I can also depart from CDG, AMS, DUS and CGN
(7) Do you have FFP status of any kind in OW or other airline? What is it? Do you have any miles banked in a FFP?
Reply: I don't have any status. I have 9602 miles in Aeroflot bonus (I now realise that this isn't a good program).
(8) Preferred Airlines? Most common Airlines flown on?
Reply: OneWorld: Qatar Airways, BA, Iberia. Malaysia seems interesting too.
Thank you for your help!
