Hi guys,

New to BA and have a couple of questions so please bear with me. Over the next few months I'll be flying Business between KUL and DXB. I'll be flying Qatar Airways as I want to retain my oneworld status. My primary oneworld FF now is Enrich and I'm wondering whether I should switch to another program and BA seems to be among the better ones out there?

1. Do the tier points shown on the website refer to one-way? And will the flight KUL-DOH and DOH-DXB be posted as two different flights? If I understand correctly, I'll get 140 TPs for KUL-DOH and 60 TPs for DOH-DXB (Business but booked into First fare class for GCC routes) one-way so a return flight would net me 400 TPs?
2. Is there anyway for me to get the 4 BA flight segments in Asia?

If it is indeed 400TPs per return flight I will be at BA Gold with 4 return flights compared to needing 10 flights if I bank it to Enrich. Only issue is meeting the 4 BA flight requirement. I hear Qatar's program is bad so did not consider that...
