Still recognized as Gold in some hotels
On both my last 2 stays in a Novotel on check in they have both had me down as Gold status instead of Platinum status even thouhg i have emailed both parties prior to arrival and informed them of my new number and status (1 month now since change) Both of these properties have been first time stays for myself but between the 2 have stayed in Mercure,Ibis and Pullman (all local and used before several times) and Platinum status has been recognized by these hotels. My question is why the difference as surely all Accor hotels use a central computer system and am i likely to have received my points at the Gold rate of 37 pts /10 Euro instead of 44 for those 2 stays ? Is there a way of finding out i am wondering ?
