I received the info below via email during the highly inefficient booking process:
Companion Benefit
The discount is the base fare of one ticket only; both passengers still pay fees & taxes
Available in Economy Class only
Flights must originate and return to the USA
Flights can be for travel domestic or internationally
2 passengers can travel on this benefit per booking but the cardholder must be one of the travelers
Passengers must travel together on the entire itinerary
Bookings cannot be made for travel inside 4 days of departure
Bookings cannot be made for travel more than 6 months in advance
Once booked the entire ticket is non-refundable, non-changeable and non-transferable.
Name changes are not permitted
Airlines, routes and times cannot be specified; Options are based on the lowest available fare at the time of quoting
Prices cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received
Flights can be booked as Return or Open Jaw only; Circle Trips and Stopovers are not permitted
