Hertz Rewards in nonlisted international countries - is it possible?

Hertz identifies United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas USVI, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands as countries where Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points can be redeemed.

Of course, there are many other countries where Hertz operates. Has anyone had success in redeeming an award in countries other than those listed on the website? If so, how difficult was it and how did you do it?

I have hope that this is possible, as it mentions on the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards FAQ page that a benefit for Five Star and President's Circle members is "Earn Gold Plus Rewards Points for free rental days around the word [sic]." Assuming that meant "around the world" then maybe I will be able to redeem for an award in other countries.
