Last year I was refused online checkin and when I reported to customer service, as requested, the agent told me, in the most deadpan voice imaginable "we are to welcome you and thank you for your loyalty as a 1K. Here's you boarding pass."

I still got to go through pre-check/security theater express.
Mrs. TheCount2 was denied OLCI for a flight out of MXP a couple of weeks ago and the BP provided by the agent at the check-in desk had SSSS printed on it. Probably the reason for OLCI denial.
