Best seat for Gate check and short connection in SEA
I am flying RNO-SEA and have a rather short connection to catch a flight to Asia... all on a single DL ticket.

I have a standard rolling bag that I normally carry on, but on the Dash-8Q used by Alaska I think I will have to gate-check it. Is it better to take seat 1A or 17A? Will being at the back be better... I am pretty sure they use both doors to deplane in SEA, right?
