Good Luck! With the latest improvement it is not as bad as it was before. But the walk/jog/run from gate to custom hall and back to departure gate will be 1-2 miles.
DL 173 arrives in the middle of T4 rush hour.
The new custom hall layout and the entry kiosk has been very effective at cutting down the processing time for those who are qualified to use the kiosk. Even if you are in a lineup the line is moving not like T3 where you are in a no window poorly lit/ventilated pedestrian tunnel full of DYKWIA types blocking the entrance to the GE section.
