We were all evicted from the F lounge at 1455. The staff on the front desk even made an announcement apologising...which I thought hilarious.

I had previously summoned the duty manager and explained how ridiculous I thought the whole charade was, she was very twitchy and nervous whilst parroting the party line that they have decided to close the lounge 6 hours earlier in order to do more cleaning. No plans to change the new timetable, but she took my feedback.

Predictably the J lounge was a zoo when I went across.

Unfortunately for some the BDA was delayed from 1510 until 2000 and the promise that the FL would remain open if a flight was late is clearly rubbish - when I left the J lounge at around 1530 the F lounge had all the lights off and a big sign in front of the doors saying the lounge was closed. Not much "cleaning" going on either.
