Never, ever have I been so disappointed in a Starwood property (and that is a prize with stiff competition). My wife checked in and upon my arrival we had been allocated a refurbished broom closet on the 6th floor. No trace of originality and a lack of space and presence of surrounding noise that would have disgraced a poor holiday inn express.
The only offer to move my room was to the 1st floor directly above the bar. In order to salvage m weekend I booked into the indigo and left within an hour of checking n.
A fabulously poor hotel which doesn't represent good value even at 3k points per night. Of all the rooms they might have given me they seem to have picked the worst.
I don't expect golden elephants but I do expect a reasonable room conforming to the brand Norns not a shoe cupboard.
