I booked $159 rate on my reservation but now after my BRG approval it has increased to $529 per night.... It also says "Rate Description: Best Rate Guarantee Extra Adults 20" when my BRG claim has 2 adults.
SPG Best Rate: $129 + tax
Competitor Rate: $119.20 + tax
Actual Confirmed Rate: $95.36
Should I be worried and reach out to BRG team again? I don't even know where the $529 came from...
I found this problem in my case too. The approved rate was 249$ but the booking shown 650$ instead.
my last stay at w paris also experienced this. The rate shown in this booking was a bit higher than the approved rate. I had to ask them to correct it at check out, showing them the confirmation mail from the brg department.
