The exit row on the A330 is nicer than a regular seat

I don't think you will get much of views of Sydney when departing - if it takes off to the South will just head south away from Sydney ; if it takes off to the North, will turn pretty much straight away

Sitting on the port side would , if going to see anything, be the better bet I would suggest
