Why is UA TPE cheaper than the other Asian cities?
a quick pricing comparison shows that UA's lowest fares for MR's from SFO are:
SFO to:
TPE - $440
NRT - $478
ICN - $488
PVG - $558
PEK - $578
HKG - $588
BKK - $610
SIN - $628
not that i'm complaining, but any ideas why TPE is so low (especially since the flight even goes through NRT, and the SFO-NRT is 38 bucks more...)
Sounds like a pretty good long haul MR, if you can afford the travel time (or not wanting to do nesting).
