Haven't been to Palawan but between the travel and jet lag you will probably have to spend majority of your time in Palawan, where you could spend 1-2 days in BKK getting over jet lag then you have northern Thailand, Samui, Hua Hin and of course Phuket. 2-3 day in each location and easy to get to with LCC's within Thailand.
