Saturday Evening Plan
At last, a pre-dinner drinks venue has been arranged for Saturday night, and it is the top floor SkyLounge bar at the DoubleTree hotel - which should also be convenient for those staying at the hotel!
We have an area/tables set aside for 1700 onwards. However, the simulator group is only likely to get back to the hotel around 1645-1700 anyway so I won't be up until 1730 at the earliest. If you go early just ask about the group reservation for 16 in my name (Alexis) and I am sure they will let you know where our space is.
It has some good views over Leeds and also an outdoor area. The bar is perhaps not the cheapest in Leeds, but I guess by southern standards it isn't too expensive.
We will depart for the restaurant at 1915 in order to get there for 1930.

If walking from the city centre/city square walk down Bishopgate Street to the left side of The Queens hotel when facing it (not the station approach road), and follow the road down and under the railway station (Neville Street). Whilst walking under the railway arches take the right turn after the Centre Newsagents - there is a sign for the DoubleTree here. Walk along Granary Wharf Arches and over the metal bridge, which spans the River Aire. Turn left and exit the arches in to the plaza. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Center is located diagonally to your right.
Once inside the SkyLounge bar is on the top floor of the building. I will try and print up some FlyerTalk logos so you can spot us.

This is a bit more fluid, it depends on how many stay on after dinner and also what kind of bar we would like to go to. The following bar has been suggested as the first bar, but beyond that we will just see where the mood takes us!
