I was up front . . IAH to DCA on an evening flight. Had water pre departure, and was cut off when FA brought me my third Jack and soda she said this was my last - maybe it was one and half hours into the flight, maybe two. I was minding my own business and watching TV and could not figure out why I was cut off. I did not question her. In fact, I never question crew members, don't ever want the FBI waiting for me. Generally, I always mind my own business - which is one reason I often don't like first. Seat mates always want to talk. In coach its easier to ignore the person next to you!
