I would look at the price of a business class ticket round trip. It's typically much less than 2X the one way fare (in other words, round trip likely isn't $14,000). I'd be willing to bet you can outright purchase a EWR-DXB flight for ~$4000-$6000 round trip, despite what it's showing one way.

Edit: I just checked and the price is ~$4900 round trip Feb 7-14. Darn close to your airfare, plus the two upgrade prices.
