I'm taking my Osprey 46 on my next flight on F9 (CLE-RDU-CLE). I went on the F9 site to see what the carryon restrictions. The Osprey is about 2 inches smaller in H and W, and I think I will be OK. The max weight is 35#. I'm not going to stuff the pack. My BF in driving down (he has friends to visit on the way back) and will pick me up at RDU. He also will put some stuff, like hiking sandals, hiking staff, ect in his trunk. I learned my lesson not to pack so much as on my last trip to London.

Average temps in Raleigh are in the 70-80s now, so no heavy clothes! My trip in 10May-19May. Will also drive to the coast. Can't wait to see the USS North Carolina and the beaches!

I'm looking forward to breaking in my Osprey.
