I'm not sure I follow what you mean?

540 Qpoints will leave me at the Gold tier. And then the Globetrotter-campaign award will upgrade me to Platinum.
Qpoints are not worth anything, they're just deciding what level you are with Qatar Airways. And if I make it to Platinum via the Globetrotter-campaign or via Qpoints, it shouldn't make any difference?

As a side-note, I might do the OSL-NRT-OSL in I/biz as well, if there are any good offers (I can't book during the current promotion as I'm not sure what part of the world I will be living in by the time its time to travel to Tokyo).
